1. State the assignment (problem/project) in your own words.
In this assignment we had to go from one circle for 2 seconds, to the next circle & stay for 3 seconds, then we had to go to the final circle & stay for 1 second, and then go back to the starting point.
2. What are your input factors? (What did you need to know or do before you can begin?) Include the research you did.
We needed to have my proggrammeing skills and Nick's amazing builder skills. Did you know that Nick is Bob the Builder in disguise? Pretty cool huh.
3. Describe the processs in detail. Explain the steps you followed in order to complete the project.
First, we took measurements of the robot, like how far it travelled in one rotation of its wheel, and how long it took for it to turn 360 degrees.
4. Describe the final output/product in detail: what are we looking at?
The final product completes the given challenge.
5. Describe feedback you received during the project (suggestions comments etc.) From peers instructors etc. How did you use this feedback to correct issues with your project?
We received feedback like decreasing the friction on the wheels, and that improved on the bot greatly.
6. What did you learn during the assignment such as tools, skills, design concepts, software, hardware, etc.
We learned how to use the 'Drive Distance' & 'Rotation Sensor' features in LabView programming.
7. If you were to do the project again, what would you do differently and why? provide reasons and examples.
If we were to do the project again, we would work more together on each other's strong points, like I would work on the building a bit and he would work a little on the programming.
